1969 camaro sheet metal thickness Does anyone have a list of the original thicknesses for 1st Gen sheet metal? I have a number of "extra" front end pieces now and want to make sure which are OEM and which are aftermarket before I mislead someone accidentally. I have a couple of the cheap plastic light fixtures for an unfinished storage area that basically are just a bulb socket that mounts to the plastic electrical box. As everything is plastic except the terminals, there is nowhere on the fixtures to connect the ground.

Yup, ground wire from the cable must go straight to the ground screw on the metal box. The outlet will pick up ground automagically via the steel domed cover. Just make a J-hook anyway you can, and put it on the green screw.
