It has been in commercial service for the whole time. I use grease in the fittings on the slides and it has worn less than some other mills would have worn in the same service.
Need advice on milling a 1-1/4" wide x 8" long slot into 1/2" mild steel plate. I'm going to be look at a Beaver mill on Saturday (not sure of the model). I'd like to hear from people who know this machine.
