I am thinking the repaint that was done by previous owner may have inadvertently filled these, or they are different locations than a 68. Just need to know where to look on each part. I regularly see adds for a "Camaro front clip" for sale, though some say that's the subframe and suspension while others think its the sheet metal above it. Did all sheet metal have date codes? I am working on a 69 convertible that looked to have all original sheet metal. I found a date code on most every panel except the left quarter and deck lid. The car has been completely, and I do mean completely, chemically stripped so any numbers or welded panel replacement should show up. First Generation Camaro Info and Tech - 1967-1969 . When term "massaging" new parts is used it refers to prying, pounding on with board and hammering cutting and rewelding.
