I have access from above so i am installing a junction box in the ceiling . 591 junction box specifically made for replacing a ceiling rose. All the cables of the loop in loop out terminate in this and your light connects to it from the other end. Available many places I including Amazon. I am trying to replace a ceiling rose (with a loop I believe) to a more decorative light. Pictures of both attached. I am guessing that I need a forth junction box to sit inside the light .
I thought that as long as you used the boxes along with the connectors (used properly), and fixed the box to the ceiling timbers with the little button they supply, it could be treated as a maintenance-free junction box. I decided to tidy up the wiring to my WC/Shower cloak room using a Wago Junction Box 224-112 and Wago connectors to replace the ceiling rose. The circuit to be:- The Earth wires and connectors are in a separate junction box. Everything fits neatly inside the Wago Junction Box, see photo, but I wonder if there might be better way of doing this?

If you have junction box wiring you will only have one cable that will have an earth (yellow and green), blue (neutral) and brown (live) or older wiring will be earth (yellow and green) black (neutral) and red (live).
