Even if .There is only 4 set into clips on the rear fender under the seat. The main is the one that has a red lead going to the positive on the battery. Start there with a multimeter.

What's the best way of securing the wires to the inside of the fender? I really only need to hit one spot on each side, and am considering JB Weld or some epoxy/silicone caulk.
